We have had a busy and great spring break. We spent three days in Atlanta visiting my parents and 4 of my brothers, my sister-in-law Erin and my brother’s girlfriend. We went to the playground, Zoo Atlanta and the two big boys went to a Braves game. They stayed until the very end and even saw the fireworks. Mark said it was a precious time for all three of them:)
We then went to Greenville and stayed overnight at the Baker Bed and Breakfast (just joking) with our sweet friends, Julie and Evan Baker, and their girls Allie and Lauren. Julie and I met up with the Florence posse and went out for an eventful dinner and then on to hear Jon and Kate Gosselin share their testimony at a local church. What a fun night. We were running late and even though three of us forgot our tickets, somehow we were whisked in to the third row and even had the chance to meet Jon and Kate after the show. So cool how God gives us fun treats like that. Their testimony was so inspirational and a beautiful story of God’s love and great provision. Much needed for all of us I think. We even had the special treat of being seated by three other sweet Florence friends. God is great like that:)
Then this morning we spent an awesome morning at Newspring Church in Anderson and then hung back out at Julie and Evan’s until we had to drag ourselves back home. Sad to have to go back to the old routine of school plus now throwing two little guys in t-ball. That means four nights a week at the ball field. Hold onto your hats friends! It may be a wild ride!
